Buses from Vilnius Airport with Bus Routes and Times

From just outside the single terminal building passengers can catch buses that link Vilnius Airport with Lithuania's capital. Buses start their run at ca 5.00 am, stopping services at midnight. A trip into the centre of Vilnius (Central Bus Station) takes only 20 minutes and is inexpensive, at just 1.00 Euro for a single ticket, which can be purchased on the bus or from vending machines outside the terminal.

There are three bus lines, No's 1, 2 and 3. If you buy a Vilniečio Card, which costs only 1.50 Euros, you can top it up as you go, the fare depending on your journey. You can top up the fares for up to 5 days in advance, which costs roughly 12.00 Euros. The card is available from the Narvesen Store in Arrivals area A and in the Departures Hall. In Vilnius city center you can buy the card in any shop that shows the Vilniečio Card outside.

When you board the bus, you must use the small yellow machine that activates your ticket. It's in the front of the bus.

Vilnius Airport is connected to other cities, like Riga for example, via other bus companies. Flixbus.com goes to the Central Bus Station in Kaunas, should you wish to fly to other parts of Eastern Europe from Kaunas Airport, and Toks.lt runs buses to Palanga Airport, which start at Vilnius Central Bus Station twice a day. Tickets cost from around 15.00 Euros.  Flybus.lv runs between Vilnius and Riga.
